Produced during my time as Assistant Editor at Liverpool Music City, the Summer & Style series explored the relationship between music, identity and personal style through four editorial features with Liverpool-based artists.

 

Working alongside stylist Vincenzo Tiggiano and writer Iona Fazer, each shoot was built around a location that felt connected to the artist and their presence within the city itself. Rather than treating Liverpool as a backdrop, the environment became part of the conversation; shaping the mood, movement and atmosphere of each series.

 

Blending documentary photography with a more editorial approach to portraiture, I wanted the images to feel natural and rooted in the moment rather than overly polished or staged. The result became a collaborative project shaped equally by conversation, styling, location and personality.
