The FACT x BFI Film Academy brought together young filmmakers from across Liverpool to create and produce an original short film, giving young people the opportunity to work across directing, camera, sound and performance within a real production environment.

 

Shot across the duration of the production, the work documents both the pace of the set itself and the collaborative process behind the film.

 

Working within creative environments has taught me the importance of responding to a space and the people within it, creating images that feel honest to the atmosphere of a project while still carrying a strong visual identity.
